The section existed since first days of our school in 1954 till 1965/66 school year. Until 1959 it was run by part-time teachers, and from that time to 1966 by mr Radovan Pejic the head master of the school. After his death, the section closes down because of small number of pupils (5) and lack of teacher.

The section was reopened in 1972/73 school year, when profesor Giorgio Cavalieri came from Dubrovnik as a part-time teacher. He stayed in school till 1979

After 1979., the violin class was reopened a few times for a while and closed down again

In 1999. the school got a permanent teacher - Ljiljana Rajovic. The first student who finished this class was Zana Reljic in 2001/2002.

Since 1999 violin section works continuosly, and in 2007 we have got new teacher, our ex pupil, Vesna Milojevic and she also formed violin orchestra

In 2009 our new professor Ana Sotojanovic became a new orchestra conductor
